Kapistoni Scores at Mundus Vini
We’re beyond excited to announce that our beloved Georgian partner, Kapistoni Wines, has scored big at the 34th Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2024. Competing against entries from over 55 countries, Kapistoni stood out and shone brightly.
The Big Wins
A Win for Georgian Wine
This year’s competition was fierce, with Christian Wolf, the Head of Tasting, noting the exceptional quality of Eastern European wines. Georgia, in particular, made a significant impact, with 83 of its wines receiving awards. Out of these, only nine wines were honored with a gold medal, and we’re thrilled that Kapistoni’s Chinebuli Orange Wine was one of them. Both wines are wildy fermented in traditional Qvevris and remain unfiltered.
